Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashing machines and waste compactors
- wash and disinfect kitchen areas, utensils, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries and properly store and rotate perishable goods
- ensure clean dishware is stored in appropriate areas
- use chemical detergents and sanitizers to wash dishes
- inspect, sort, and restack clean and dirty items
- manage waste including emptying trash bins and maintaining waste areas
- clean and mop assigned areas
- dispose of glass and recycle cardboard and other materials
- comply with safety policies and report hazards
- protect company property
- communicate clearly and professionally
- develop positive working relationships
- ensure quality and standards are met
- lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- perform additional reasonable duties as assigned
