Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashing machines and pot-scrubbing stations
- Wash and disinfect kitchen, storage areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock
- Ensure clean wares are stored appropriately
- Use detergent and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes
- Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-washing
- Maintain trashcans and dumpster areas, clean and mop assigned departments
- Dispose of glass safely and manage recycling including breakdown of cardboard
- Follow all company safety and security policies, report hazards and maintenance needs
- Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing or walking
