Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry heavy items
- knowledge of and adherence to health and safety regulations
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely

Job Duties
- Operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, countertops, floors, and walls
- empty and clean trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils in good working condition
- report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager
- ensure proper storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- assist kitchen staff with food preparation and organization as needed
- help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations
- support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
- adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure sanitary conditions
- assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed
- keep track of supplies and report shortages to the kitchen manager
