Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers and manual wash stations
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries, store perishable products properly, and rotate stock
- ensure clean dishes are stored appropriately
- use detergents, disinfectants, and rinsing products in three-compartment sinks
- inspect and stack clean items, return dirty items for re-washing
- spray hot water to loosen and remove food residues
- sort, soak, and wash cutlery
- sort and separate containers for dirty items
- empty trash bins and maintain waste areas
- sweep and mop assigned departments
- dispose of glass in appropriate containers
- break down cardboard and recyclables and place them in recycling bins
- follow safety policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- protect company property
- communicate clearly and professionally
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- ensure compliance with quality standards
- move, lift, and transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- reach above the head and below knees, bend, twist, drag, and lean
- perform other reasonable tasks as assigned
