Job Requirements
- ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
- ability to wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- ability to receive deliveries and properly store perishables
- ability to use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in a 3-compartment sink
- ability to inspect cleaned items and send soiled items back for re-cleaning
- physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending and twisting

Job Qualifications
- no high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- no related work experience required

Job Duties
- operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dish washing machine and hand wash stations
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock
- use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes
- inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, sending soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing
- rack and spray all racked items with hot water to remove food residue
- sort, soak, and wash or re-wash silverware
- breakdown dirty bus tubs
- empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area
- clean and mop all areas in assigned departments
- dispose of glass properly
- break down cardboard boxes and place recyclables in recycle bin
- follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- complete safety training and certifications
- protect company assets
- communicate clearly and professionally
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- support team to reach common goals
- ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- perform other job duties as requested by supervisors
