Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwashers, handwashing stations, pot scrubbing stations, and trash compactors
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, storage rooms, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- Receive deliveries, properly store perishable products, and rotate stock
- Ensure clean dishware is stored in designated areas
- Use detergent, disinfectants, and rinse products in a three-compartment sink to wash dishes
- Inspect, stack, and return dirty items for re-washing as needed
- Empty trash bins, maintain waste disposal areas, separate recyclables, and dispose of glass properly
- Clean and mop all assigned department areas
- Follow company safety policies and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions
- Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers
- Support positive working relationships and teamwork to achieve common goals
- Adhere to quality expectations and standards
- Lift, move, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Perform reaching, bending, twisting, crouching, and other physical tasks as required
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Perform other related tasks requested by supervisors
