Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 months experience within the same or similar position
  • Comfortable handling industrial dishwashing equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Must have working English proficiency
  • Flexible schedule to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
  • US work authorization required

Job Qualifications

  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar position
  • Hotel or restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to learn operation of industrial dish machines

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine
  • Load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly
  • Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions
  • Clean, dust, sweep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff in all kitchen production areas, hallways, including purchasing hallway and loading dock
  • Maintain the cleanliness of cafeteria including sanitizing tables, chairs, walls, floors, hotline and salad bar
  • Restock condiments and paper goods as necessary
  • Set up salad bar items
  • Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure all perishables are kept at proper temperatures
  • Review daily requisitions and complete as appropriate
  • Perform banquet set up and other duties related to the Banquet Steward position
  • Report equipment malfunctions promptly and accurately
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation
  • Perform any other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
