Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or kitchen cleaning preferred
- ability to follow health and safety regulations
- physical capability to perform manual labor duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- good communication skills
- teamwork and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuous basis with or without an accommodation
- able to stand for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen
- perform functions such as mopping, sweeping and scrubbing using repetitive motions of the arms and upper body
Job Duties
- Washes dishes and other cooking utensils
- restocks all clean glasses, silverware and plates
- performs general cleaning in order to stay in compliance with the Health department
- puts away food stock, and dry goods in their proper location, rotating "first in", "first out"
- removes the trash from all containers, taking it to the dumpster located on the loading dock
- perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards
- perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning up unexpected spills or executing special guest requests
