Job Requirements

  • ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashing machines and hand-washing stations
  • knowledge of proper sanitization and cleaning procedures
  • physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
  • standing sitting or walking for prolonged periods
  • reaching overhead and below the knees bending twisting and stooping
  • adherence to company safety policies and procedures
  • willingness to complete safety training and certifications
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to develop and maintain positive work relationships

Job Duties

  • operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwashing machine and hand-washing stations
  • wash and disinfect kitchen areas storage rooms tables utensils knives and equipment
  • receive deliveries store perishable products properly and rotate stock
  • ensure clean dishes are stored in appropriate areas
  • use chemical detergents sanitizers and rinse agents to wash dishes
  • inspect stack clean items send dirty items back for re-washing
  • sort soak wash and rewash cutlery
  • empty trash bins and maintain garbage disposal area
  • clean and mop assigned areas
  • break down cardboard and recyclable materials and place in recycling bins
  • comply with safety policies report accidents and hazardous conditions
  • move lift transport items up to 50 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors
