Job Requirements

  • basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures
  • ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • previous kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred
  • physically able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using dishwashing machines or by hand, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
  • operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer instructions and guidelines
  • empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in kitchen and dining areas
  • clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas according to established procedures and schedules
  • assist with general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces in kitchen and dining areas
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas, ensuring supplies are properly stocked and organized
