Job Requirements

no high school diploma or GED equivalent required
no previous related work experience required
no supervisory experience required
able to operate cleaning machines and tools
ability to follow company safety policies and procedures
capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds
able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
able to reach overhead and below knees including bending and twisting
willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

Job Duties

operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish washing machines and trash compactors
wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
receive deliveries and properly store perishables while rotating stock
use detergent and sanitizing chemicals to clean dishes in the 3-compartment sink
inspect and re-wash items as necessary
rack and spray items to remove food residue
sort, soak, and wash silverware
breakdown dirty bus tubs and maintain trashcans and dumpster area
clean and mop all assigned departments
dispose of glass and recyclables appropriately
follow safety and security policies and report maintenance needs
assist team in achieving common goals
move and lift objects up to 50 pounds
perform other reasonable duties as requested
