Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency in English
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Prior kitchen or janitorial experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in kitchen stewarding, dishwashing, or janitorial work is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
- Basic communication skills in English
- Physical capability to meet job demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A team player with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- An eagerness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, prep areas, and storage spaces
- Empty and sanitize trash containers regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and kitchen supplies
- Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Support the culinary team by delivering clean and organized kitchenware promptly during service
- Assist with basic food preparation (such as peeling or chopping) when needed
- Report maintenance or safety issues immediately to the supervisor or chef on duty
- Follow all sanitation and safety policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Help maintain kitchen organization and support inventory control as directed
