Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen
  • Three years of management experience
  • Prior experience in a steakhouse
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Basic understanding of cost control and inventory management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of progressive culinary experience
  • Three years of management experience
  • Prior steakhouse experience
  • Basic knowledge of profit and loss statements, labor control, and recipe costing
  • Experience with sushi preparation preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and quality control
  • Manage kitchen costs and inventory including labor, supplies, and waste minimization
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety practices
  • Train, mentor, and motivate culinary team members
  • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional food quality and guest experiences
  • Collaborate with management to improve kitchen efficiency and workflow
  • Participate in menu planning and recipe development
