Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar culinary supervisory role
- knowledge of cooking techniques and established recipes

- physical stamina to stand and perform tasks during shifts
- must obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications

- Minimum of two years of experience as a sous chef or similar position preferred
- thorough knowledge of cooking techniques, menus, and recipes for specific cuisine or style
- excellent customer service and communication skills

- physical ability to stand for the majority of a shift
- capability to perform physical tasks such as grasping, reaching, bending, lifting, and kneeling
Job Duties
- Personally prepare meals according to established recipes and standards
- supervise and direct kitchen staff in assigned specialty restaurant
- interview, hire, schedule, train, coach, evaluate, promote, counsel, and discharge personnel as needed
- requisition stock according to business needs
- ensure all food products meet quality standards and are properly stored and rotated
- maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen, storage areas, and related spaces
- resolve customer complaints about food quality or preparation promptly
