Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of broiler or steakhouse experience preferably within a high-end restaurant resort or upscale dining environment
  • strong knowledge of steak temperatures broiler management seasoning and proper resting techniques
  • state or local law may require a certificate upon completion of state-certified proper food handling certification
  • must be self-motivated organized and able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness sanitation and food safety
  • must be able to communicate read write and speak english effectively
  • bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Set up the broiler
  • broil and grill all meat on the menu when ordered
  • prepare sauces and accompanying garnishes for all broiled and grilled menu items
  • requisition supplies needed to broil meats
  • cover, date and neatly store all meats, poultry and seafood
  • clean and sanitize the broiler station
  • set up, maintain and break down butcher station
