Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work two 4-hour shifts per day typically between 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed
- Strong customer service skills
- Dependability and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to use GPS-enabled smartphone
- Good communication skills
- Team-oriented attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Comfortable using a GPS-enabled smartphone
- Basic knowledge of city geography or willingness to learn
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Assist riders to check out a bike to begin a trip
- Find an available dock to end riders' trips
- Provide personal greeting and answer any questions for riders
- Dock and undock stations with bikes
- Manage inventory and provide counts to operations
- Inspect station, docks, and individual bikes for safety, operability, and cleanliness
- Troubleshoot problems as needed
- Ensure station equipment, dock, kiosk, and bike presentation standards are maintained
- Maintain knowledge of bikeshare system and city geography to provide excellent customer service
- Follow safe work practices to create and maintain a safe working environment
