Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • available to work two 4-hour shifts per day, primarily weekdays with some weekends
  • flexible schedule to cover varying shifts and locations
  • ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
  • physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • able to use a GPS-enabled smartphone
  • dependable and punctual
  • willingness to learn and be teachable

Job Qualifications

  • Experience providing customer service
  • ability to communicate in a friendly and helpful manner
  • ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
  • comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • familiarity or willingness to learn bikeshare systems and city navigation

  • physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, walk, bend, or stoop for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Assist riders to check-out a bike and find an available dock to end their trip
  • provide personal greeting and answer any rider questions
  • dock and undock stations with bikes
  • manage inventory and provide counts to operations
  • inspect station, docks and individual bikes for safety, operability, and cleanliness
  • troubleshoot problems as needed
  • ensure station equipment, dock, kiosk, and bike presentation standards are maintained
  • maintain knowledge of the bikeshare system and city geography
  • follow safe work practices to maintain a safe working environment
