Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
- Must be at least 18 years old if driving cargo handling equipment
- Ability to lift 70 lbs
- Ability to step up to an above ground level
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to concentrate on detail
- Ability to learn and apply PC skills
- Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work environment
- Experience with safety auditing or incident reporting preferred
Job Duties
- Distribute safety bulletins and posters and discuss new safety procedures with staff
- Perform safety audits on warehouse and ramp operations and provide feedback to management
- Issue safety warnings and tickets as preventable measures
- Attend safety committee meetings and provide management with feedback
- Review station audits, incidents, accidents and injury reports to identify areas for improvement
- Stimulate hourly personnel involvement in the safety culture and distribute safety awards
- Assist with accident and incident reporting, investigation, and analysis
- Work with Regional Director to ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Retrieve import and export documents to and from aircraft
