Job Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Avelo systems and software
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA, and other aviation regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays
  • Physical ability to work on ramp and handle lifting up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Prior airline operations or ground handling experience preferred
  • Prior Operations Control or Station Operations Center experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years airline airport operations experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in operational management tools and airline systems
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA, and aviation regulatory requirements
  • Prior experience in airline operations or airport ground handling preferred
  • Experience working in Operations Control or Station Operations Center preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily station operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer service
  • Monitor and coordinate ground operations including aircraft arrivals, ramp management, gate management, boarding, baggage handling, deicing, and fueling
  • Act as main contact for Airport Operations Center and Operations Control Center
  • Coordinate with Airport Authorities to resolve facility or service issues
  • Serve as liaison with pilots for ground service requests
  • Communicate pertinent information from Dispatch and Maintenance Control
  • Advise dispatch on airport challenges related to irregular operations
  • Lead real-time decision-making to resolve operational challenges
  • Support crewmembers and customers during irregular operations
  • Manage customer communications about delays, cancellations, or gate changes
  • Maintain accurate records of operations including logs and incident reports
  • Analyze operational data to identify improvements
