Job Duties
- Communicate with head chef to assist during busy periods to ensure optimal service
- Notify manager if any product fails to meet specifications
- Check and ensure correct temperatures of appliances and foods
- Monitor quantities of food prepared and portions served
- Ensure appropriate portion sizes, presentation, and decoration of served foods
- Serve food in proper portions and containers
- Set up, clean, and divide workstations
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Prepare and cook food
- Comply with all safety policies and company procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to manager
- Maintain professional and clean appearance and uphold confidentiality
- Greet guests according to company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships
- Support team to meet shared goals
- Meet quality standards and expectations
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Stretch, bend, twist, and stoop as required
- Move, lift, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds independently
