Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience preferred
- availability evenings and weekends including Saturdays
- ability to use point-of-sale and reservation management systems
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capable of lifting up to 20 pounds
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- commitment to teamwork and guest satisfaction
- willingness to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- flexibility to work holidays or winter breaks if a student

Job Duties
- Greets and seats guests
- presents menus to guests
- informs guests of special catch and soups
- treats all guests to ensure complete satisfaction
- takes names on a waiting list
- runs the floor plan board
- observes tables and tracks clean, dirty and occupied tables
- takes guest information and quotes wait times accurately
- distributes parking vouchers and monitors coat check
- cleans and organizes host closet
- cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area
- answers phone and responds to questions about menu and restaurant
- answers phone and takes orders for room service
- interacts with guests upon arrival and departure to ensure positive experiences
- maintains restrooms throughout shift
- frequently sweeps foyer and front entrance area
- keeps windows and wine wall clean
- maintains and updates information wall
- performs other duties as directed
