Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
- availability to work evenings and weekends including Saturdays
- willingness to work in a full-service restaurant environment
- ability to use restaurant equipment such as point of sale and reservation management systems
- ability to stand and walk frequently throughout shift
- capability to lift and move up to 20 pounds occasionally
- must be able to manage guest seating and waiting lists
- physical stamina to perform active duties including stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- must maintain professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties
- Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups
- treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
- takes names on a waiting list
- runs the floor plan board
- observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
- takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available
- responsible for distribution of parking vouchers and monitoring coat check
- cleans and organizes the host closet
- cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area
- answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant
- answers phone and takes orders pertaining to room service
- interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
- maintains restrooms throughout shift
- sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently
- keeps windows and wine wall clean
- maintains and updates the information wall
- performs other duties as directed
