Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • 2-3 years restaurant experience preferred
  • Luxury/Upper-upscale hotel experience preferred
  • 1-2 years prior room service experience in upper-upscale hotel
  • Food handling and alcohol service certifications required
  • Read, write and speak English fluently

Job Duties

  • Prepares dining room for guests by setting decorations, service plates, and utensils
  • Protects the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
  • Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean, replacing damaged or soiled pages, and cleaning chalkboards
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to additional needs
  • Closes the restaurant by cleaning chairs and tables
  • Supports servers and bartenders by performing necessary work duties
  • Responsible for guest maintenance by clearing plates, watering tables and resetting tables
  • Remove trash, polish glassware and restock supplies
  • Run drinks to tables as needed
