Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customer return
  • Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department
  • Monitor and control all established quality assurance standards
  • Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Coffee Kiosk
  • Support the Deli Manager in day-to-day kiosk operations
  • Promote trust and respect among associates
  • Communicate company, department and job-specific information to associates
  • Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company/store goals
  • Assist in establishing performance goals for department and empower associates to meet or exceed targets
  • Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume throughout hours of operation
  • Assist in training and developing associates on job performance and participate in performance appraisal process
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products and offering samples
  • Offer customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment
  • Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers
  • Create and prepare drinks ensuring they meet company standards
  • Display a positive attitude
  • Assist in developing and implementing a department business plan to achieve desired results
  • Assist in creating and executing sales promotions in partnership with store management
  • Inform and educate department associates about current and upcoming promotions
  • Monitor and control expenses for the department
  • Maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and address discrepancies
  • Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes
  • Assist in planning, organizing and supervising inventory process
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Reinforce safety programs and notify management of unsafe conditions or incidents
  • Report all safety risks or illegal activity
  • Manage conflict cooperatively and professionally
  • Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues
  • Provide support through interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
