Job Duties
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customer return
- Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department
- Monitor and control all established quality assurance standards
- Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Coffee Kiosk
- Support the Deli Manager in day-to-day kiosk operations
- Promote trust and respect among associates
- Communicate company, department and job-specific information to associates
- Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company/store goals
- Assist in establishing performance goals for department and empower associates to meet or exceed targets
- Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume throughout hours of operation
- Assist in training and developing associates on job performance and participate in performance appraisal process
- Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products and offering samples
- Offer customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment
- Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers
- Create and prepare drinks ensuring they meet company standards
- Display a positive attitude
- Assist in developing and implementing a department business plan to achieve desired results
- Assist in creating and executing sales promotions in partnership with store management
- Inform and educate department associates about current and upcoming promotions
- Monitor and control expenses for the department
- Maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and address discrepancies
- Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes
- Assist in planning, organizing and supervising inventory process
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Reinforce safety programs and notify management of unsafe conditions or incidents
- Report all safety risks or illegal activity
- Manage conflict cooperatively and professionally
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues
- Provide support through interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
