Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment
- treat customers and employees fairly and ethically
- create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated
- maintain knowledge of products and answer customer questions
- collaborate with team members to achieve store goals
- prepare beverage selections according to recipes and customer requests
- tender transactions using company best practices
- offer product samples and inform customers of specials
- provide fresh products with correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
- recommend coffee shop items to customers
- use kitchen and coffee shop equipment properly
- prepare, package, label, and inventory ingredients
- check product quality and review sell by dates
- label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
- report ordering and shipping discrepancies
- stay current with present, future, and seasonal ads
- comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- perform preventive equipment maintenance and report repairs
- notify management of accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities
