Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment
- treat customers and employees fairly and ethically
- promote an inclusive work environment
- provide accurate product information and recommendations
- prepare beverage selections to recipes and customer requests using proper equipment
- offer product samples and inform customers of specials
- maintain product freshness and portion control to prevent shrink
- operate coffee shop equipment like refrigerators, ovens, espresso machine, and blender following guidelines
- label, stock, and inventory merchandise
- report product ordering and shipping discrepancies to management
- adhere to food safety regulations and report safety risks promptly
- practice preventive maintenance and report equipment issues
- manage conflict in a cooperative and nonconfrontational manner
- support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
