Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Ability to operate kitchen and coffee shop equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Must be able to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage conflict in a nonconfrontational manner
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment
- Treat customers and employees fairly and ethically
- Promote an inclusive work environment
- Provide the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing
- Prepare beverage selections to recipe and standards and to customer's requests using proper equipment
- Offer product samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials
- Use and maintain coffee shop equipment according to company guidelines
- Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company goals
- Check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell by dates
- Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions
- Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies to the department manager
- Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment
- Notify management of customer or employee accidents and report safety risks
- Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
- Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed
