Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment
- treat customers and employees ethically and fairly, promoting an inclusive work environment
- provide the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing

- answer questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store
- maintain knowledge of products to respond to questions and make suggestions
- collaborate with associates to achieve company and store goals
- prepare beverage selections to recipe and customer standards using proper equipment
- tender transactions according to company best practices
- offer product samples and inform customers of specials
- provide fresh products with correct portion sizes to reduce shrink
- recommend coffee shop items to customers
- use coffee shop equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machine, blender, computerized scale and steamer properly
- package, label and inventory ingredients and merchandise
- check product quality and review sell by dates
- report ordering and shipping discrepancies to management
- comply with safety procedures and food safety regulations
- inspect and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any repair needs
- report accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities to management
- work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
