Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Determine customer needs and make product suggestions
- Sample and suggest merchandise to customers
- Assist Food Service Manager with hiring new associates
- Coach and train new associates to Barista Certification
- Ensure self and associates follow store and Price Chopper policies
- Follow health, safety and food safety guidelines
- Assist customers in product selection
- Maintain clean and organized customer service area and workstation
- Demonstrate positive customer service attitude
- Prepare customer beverage orders to standard
- Perform cleaning tasks on schedule
- Stock and rotate merchandise according to standards
- Ensure equipment maintenance procedures are followed
- Handle cash and operate register following procedures
- Follow inventory control policies
- Manage product and supply orders
- Maintain records as per company procedures
- Complete initial store training and pass Barista certification
- Perform other duties assigned by management
