Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or restaurant environment preferred
- Must have completed Starbucks Barista training and be Starbucks Barista Certified
- Must maintain Serve Safe Certification
- Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to lead a team of up to 15 partners
- Strong leadership skills
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations

Job Duties
- Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with Rock City Enterprises' mission, culture, and values
- Model the values of the Culture of Excellence and serve as a role model in guest and partner interactions
- Perform normal barista duties and ensure that opening and closing procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and ready store that meets Georgia Health Department and Starbucks Food Safety Assessment standards
- Maintain Serve Safe Certification
- Coach baristas on keeping clean bar, back of house, and cafe
- Ensure daily time, temperature, transfer, and waste controls are followed
- Ensure health codes and safety standards are met to maintain a high health score
- Assist with conducting inventory and maintaining stock
- Assist with placing and receiving orders as needed
- Send daily financial reports to accounting
- Conduct Starbucks on-the-job training programs for baristas and trainers
- Enforce Starbucks' and Rock City's employment policies and procedures
- Serve as point of contact for customer requests, feedback, and questions in the absence of the manager
- Coach Starbucks partners and keep manager informed of partner issues
- Facilitate communication between Starbucks, Rock City Enterprises, and the team
- Submit maintenance and facilities requests
- Oversee daily supervision of partners alongside the manager and other team leaders
- Perform other duties as assigned by management and act as Barista Trainer when needed
