- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- ability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Follow and ensure team follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices
- provide leadership and direct associates in delivering food products and exceptional customer service during shifts
- ensure team prepares and presents drip coffee, cold beverage, espresso bar and pastry products to Starbucks standards
- follow Starbucks merchandising, product presentations and signing standards
- ensure team meets speed of service standards
- monitor food quality using Starbucks checklists
- demonstrate a positive role model for Starbucks Simply Service Steps
- support strong working relationships with store management
- provide ongoing training, feedback, coaching and motivation to associates
- maintain professional grooming, appearance and communication standards
- meet workplace safety, sanitation and equipment care standards
- utilize sales and cost reports to ensure profit/loss goals are met
- assist in preparation and production of menu items
- assist in ordering food, beverage, dry and paper goods
- assist in product receiving and inventory best practices
- perform other duties as needed
- foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers and communities
