Job Requirements

- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals

Job Duties
- Follow and ensure team follows Food Division Standards and Best Practices
- Provide leadership and direct associates in delivering food products and exceptional customer service during shifts
- Ensure preparation and presentation of drip coffee, cold beverages, espresso, and pastries meet Starbucks standards
- Follow Starbucks merchandising, product presentation, and signage standards
- Ensure team meets speed of service standards
- Monitor food quality using Starbucks checklists
- Demonstrate positive role modeling for Starbucks Simply Service Steps
- Support strong working relationship with store management
- Provide ongoing training, feedback, coaching, and motivation to maximize team performance and satisfaction
- Maintain grooming, professional appearance, and communication standards
- Meet workplace safety, sanitation, and equipment care standards
- Use forecasts, sales, food cost, and payroll data to achieve profit/loss goals
- Assist in menu item preparation and production
- Assist in ordering food, beverage, dry and paper goods based on budget and business needs
- Assist in receiving products and follow inventory best practices
- Perform other duties as needed
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities
