Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and perform physical activities such as climbing balancing stooping kneeling reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting grasping talking hearing and repetitive motions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to report to work on schedule
- Adherence to company policies and personal hygiene standards
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of similar or related experience
- Basic arithmetic skills including fractions decimals and percentages
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to file post and mail materials copy data guide people and provide basic direction
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well in team environments
- Knowledge of food safety is encouraged
Job Duties
- Provide prompt efficient and friendly customer service exhibiting care concern and patience
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner throughout the store
- Make an effort to learn and use customers' names
- Assist customers by escorting them to products securing out-of-reach items loading/unloading heavy items noting and passing along suggestions
- Answer telephone promptly providing friendly and helpful service including taking product orders
- Take customer orders at the counter
- Work with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and pleasant work environment
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness of the work area
- Review food status and appearance for freshness
- Ensure adequate food supply and follow production lists
- Anticipate product needs daily
- Prepare and replenish products as necessary
- Check in product put away product and review invoices
- Run department registers and handle payments where applicable
- Remove trash timely
- Maintain adherence to personal hygiene dress code and company policies
- Report to work on time as scheduled
