Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 18 years
  • flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods
  • ability to work a weekly basis for periods of 90 days or less for temporary positions
  • must have basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
  • ability to lift frequently and perform physical activities including reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
  • willingness to comply with workplace health and safety protocols
  • reliable and punctual work habits

Job Duties

  • assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
  • provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience
  • take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions
  • keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space
  • perform routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal
  • maintain flexibility to work a variety of shifts including opening, midday, closing, and occasional weekends
  • comply with health and safety regulations related to COVID-19 including mask wearing and social distancing as required
