Job Requirements
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
- Capable of climbing ladders safely
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently, including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in temperature environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work in areas where common allergens may be present
- Ability to remain mobile throughout the duration of a scheduled shift
- Capability to operate communication technology and handheld devices
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in using communication devices and handheld scanners
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced setting
- Attention to detail and adherence to multi-step processes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance protocols preferred
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving quality handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain food and beverage standards, including Starbucks brand and food safety protocols
- Execute food inventory processes such as deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, culling, rotation, and backstock management
- Maintain awareness and support of Starbucks promotional activities
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines to ensure efficiency, consistency, and food safety
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process by fulfilling digital guest orders accurately and promptly
- Maintain a clean and inviting dining area for guests throughout all operating hours
- Engage with guests authentically to exceed expectations and provide knowledgeable assistance
- Produce food and beverage items according to specification cards and department routines
- Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items and complete cleaning tasks as required
- Follow packaging, labeling, and food safety best practices
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items appropriately
- Ensure accurate inventory management through proper ordering and perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests genuinely and addressing their needs
- Complete all required Starbucks quality control trainings
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety awareness, and compliance at all times
- Assist with guest services roles such as backup cashiering, order pickup, and Drive-up as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
