Job Requirements

  • Accurately handle cash register operations when needed
  • Climb up and down ladders safely
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 34°F to -10°F

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Skill to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience, connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food during operations, prioritizing guest needs
  • Uphold and maintain execution of Food and Beverage standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards
  • Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect handling, signing, and backstock
  • Maintain awareness of all promotional activities within Starbucks
  • Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and maintaining food safety
  • Support Starbucks Drive Up process ensuring digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and timely
  • Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout the day
  • Engage with guests to meet and exceed Starbucks standards
  • Produce items according to specifications and follow department routines
  • Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
  • Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
  • Follow proper packaging and labeling guidelines
  • Follow all food safety requirements and best practices
  • Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process accordingly
  • Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
  • Follow proper perishable inventory procedures
  • Execute sampling best practices
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests authentically
  • Observe guest cues to tailor assistance
  • Engage guests genuinely including asking questions to understand needs
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in store
  • Thank guests genuinely
  • Complete all required Starbucks quality control trainings
  • Demonstrate culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Work safely to benefit self and others
  • Support guest services including backup cashier, order pickup, Drive-up
  • Adhere to all duties as needed based on business requirements
