Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays with reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in temperature ranges from 34 degrees Fahrenheit to -10 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in environments where common allergens may be present
- Capability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements during certain job duties such as Drive-Up and carryout
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused, composed, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment within timeframes
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and providing quality handcrafted beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain execution of Food and Beverage standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect identification, signing, and backstock
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting and clean dining area throughout the day
- Engage with guests to exceed expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce items according to specifications and follow department routines
- Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items as outlined in best practices
- Complete cleaning tasks as required in Starbucks space
- Follow proper packaging, labeling guidelines, and food safety requirements
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Ensure accurate in-stock levels by placing store orders following best practices
- Follow perishable inventory procedures for accurate inventory recording
- Execute sampling best practices
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests authentically
- Observe and adapt to guest cues to tailor service
- Engage guests by asking questions to understand their needs
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues

- Complete required Starbucks quality control trainings
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
- Work safely at all times and identify hazards
- Support guest services including backup cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up
