Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments ranging from 34F to -10F
- Ability to work in environments with common allergens
- Capable of remaining mobile and active for the duration of a shift
- Compliance with all safety policies and food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest questions promptly
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or understanding of food quality and safety standards
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by crafting quality beverages and food
- Uphold food and beverage standards and Starbucks brand and food safety standards
- Manage food processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect handling, signing, and backstock
- Support Starbucks Drive Up by fulfilling digital orders accurately and timely
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of dining and Starbucks areas
- Engage with guests authentically to exceed expectations
- Monitor temperature-sensitive food items and complete related cleaning and safety tasks
- Follow proper packaging, labeling, and inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices and promotional activities adherence
- Observe and respond to guest needs dynamically
- Complete Starbucks quality control trainings
- Ensure compliance with safety, ethical conduct, and federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide backup support for cashier, order pick up, and drive-up services
- Perform all other duties as assigned based on business needs
