Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous food service experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
Ability to climb ladders and handle merchandise up to 44 pounds
Reliable and flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in varying temperature environments from 34°F to -10°F
Ability to handle exposure to allergens and varying environmental elements
Capability to remain mobile during the entire shift
Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant policies

Job Qualifications

Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

Job Duties

Deliver an exceptional guest experience connecting with guests to provide quality handcrafted beverages and food
Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage standards and Starbucks brand standards
Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, and food safety routines
Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks
Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and timely
Engage with guests authentically to meet and exceed expectations
Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items and complete required cleaning tasks
Follow food safety requirements and proper packaging and labeling guidelines
Identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process accordingly
Execute sampling best practices and maintain inventory accuracy
Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
Work safely following all safety policies and best practices
Support additional guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up
