Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide friendly service
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments including cold storage areas
- Willingness to adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays and peak hours
- Ability to use technology devices and scanners
- Commitment to teamwork and problem solving
- Ability to maintain sanitation and food safety standards
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately

Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing guest needs
- Uphold and maintain execution of Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserve product
- Always be aware of current and future Starbucks promotions
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver consistent experience while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety
- Support Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of digital guest orders
- Maintain an inviting dining area throughout shift
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
- Follow all food safety requirements including temperature monitoring and recording
- Complete and record cleaning tasks as outlined in best practices
- Locate and process damaged, recalled or expired items according to best practice
- Ensure accurate instocks by placing store-initiated orders
- Follow proper perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Be knowledgeable about store tools and products to solve guest issues
- Complete required training and certifications related to Starbucks quality control
- Demonstrate safety and compliance culture
- Work safely and comply with safety policies, report and correct hazards
- Support guest services like backup cashier, order pickup and drive-up maintaining compliance
- Create welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their specific needs
- Thank guests for choosing Target
- Perform other duties based on business needs
