Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Maintain a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be present
- Capability to work in varying temperatures and humidity
- Ability to remain mobile throughout scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Capability to remain composed and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience connecting with guests to provide handcrafted beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain food and beverage standards including Starbucks brand and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes such as deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, inventory accuracy, food rotation, cleaning, and backstock
- Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks
- Support Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout the day
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce items according to specifications and department routines
- Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
- Complete and document all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
- Follow packaging and labeling guidelines for food products
- Adhere to all food safety requirements
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Place store-initiated orders to maintain accurate in-stocks
- Execute proper perishable inventory procedures
- Create a welcoming experience through authentic guest greetings
- Observe guest behavior to tailor interaction
- Engage guests with questions to understand their needs
- Demonstrate knowledge of products, tools, and services to resolve guest issues
- Thank guests genuinely
- Complete required Starbucks quality control trainings
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
- Work safely to identify and correct hazards
- Support guest services including backup cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up functions
- Perform all other duties as needed based on business requirements
