Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in temperature ranges from 34 degrees Fahrenheit to -10 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in environments with common allergens
- Capable of working in varying temperature and humidity conditions including drive-up and carryout areas
- Ability to remain mobile throughout the scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multi-frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in fast-paced environments
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by crafting quality handcrafted beverages and food
- Uphold food, beverage, and Starbucks brand standards including food safety
- Execute food delivery, replenishment, stocking, zoning, inventory accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect handling, signing, and backstock processes
- Maintain awareness of all promotional activities within Starbucks
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, inviting dining area for guests
- Engage authentically with guests to meet and exceed their expectations
- Produce items according to production specifications and department routines
- Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
- Complete all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks area
- Follow packaging, labeling, and food safety guidelines
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Place store-initiated orders to ensure accurate in-stocks
- Follow perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests
- Tailor guest interactions based on verbal and non-verbal cues
- Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to assist guests
- Thank guests sincerely for choosing Target
- Complete all required Starbucks quality control trainings
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
- Work safely and correct hazards
- Support guest services like cashier backup, order pickup, and drive-up while complying with beverage laws
