Job Requirements
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to handle and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely and efficiently
- Willingness to work in varying temperature environments from 34F to -10F
- Ability to work in spaces with common allergens
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Strong teamwork skills.
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of all required training and certifications related to Starbucks quality control
- Commitment to safety and ethical conduct
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserve product
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications
- Follow all food safety requirements including temperature monitoring
- Complete cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space as outlined in best practices
- Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process them appropriately
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
- Follow proper perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Complete all required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products
- Work in a safe manner at all times following safety policies
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive-Up while maintaining compliance
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
- Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing Target
- Perform other duties as needed.
