Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
- Ability to climb ladders
- Capability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to work in temperature ranges from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work in environments with common allergens
- Able to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
- Must comply with all food safety and OSHA guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Quick problem-solving skills for guest questions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by crafting quality handcrafted beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain Food and Beverage, Starbucks brand, and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, rotation, cleaning, signing, and backstock
- Maintain awareness of all Starbucks promotional activities
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines to ensure a consistent Starbucks experience and food safety
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process with accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Keep the dining area clean and inviting throughout operating hours
- Engage guests by greeting authentically and tailoring service to their needs
- Monitor temperature-sensitive food items and record results
- Complete all assigned cleaning tasks and ensure compliance with food safety requirements
- Follow proper packaging, labeling, and inventory procedures
- Identify and handle damaged or expired items per best practices
- Place store-initiated orders to maintain accurate stock levels
- Execute sampling best practices
- Demonstrate ethical conduct and a culture of safety and compliance
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up while ensuring compliance with adult beverage laws
- Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements
