Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Capability to climb ladders and handle merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Capability to work around common allergens
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Strong communication skills
- Must comply with all food safety and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to follow safety policies and identify/correct hazards
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of required Starbucks training related to quality control
- Demonstrated ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by making handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain food and beverage standards, including Starbucks brand and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes such as deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, and inventory routines
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of digital guest orders
- Maintain an inviting and clean dining area throughout all hours of operation
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations according to Starbucks standards
- Complete cleaning tasks and follow packaging, labeling, and food safety guidelines
- Monitor temperature-sensitive food items and conduct inventory procedures accurately
- Greet guests authentically and tailor service to their needs by observing verbal and non-verbal cues
- Complete all required Starbucks trainings and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Support guest services including cashier backup, order pick up, and Drive-up operations
- Perform all other duties as assigned based on business needs
