Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or retail beneficial
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in temperature-varied environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Capability to work in environments where allergens may be present
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures consistently
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and crafting quality handcrafted beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain execution of Food and Beverage standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety protocols
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, rotation, cleaning, signing, and backstock
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and timely
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout the day
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Complete all cleaning and food safety tasks as outlined in best practices
