Job Requirements
- accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- climb up and down ladders
- scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely
- frequently lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in varying temperature environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- comfortable working in spaces with common allergens
- capable of maintaining mobility for the duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- capable of operating multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- reliable and punctual attendance
Job Duties
- deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience
- uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage standards
- execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, inventory routines, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and storing reserve product
- follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience for guests while ensuring food safety
- support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time
- maintain an inviting dining area throughout the shift
- engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations
- produce handcrafted beverages and food according to Starbucks recipes
- monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
- complete and record cleaning tasks
- identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
- ensure accurate in-stocks and proper inventory procedures
- execute sampling best practices
- complete all required training and certifications related to Starbucks quality control
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- comply with safety policies and report hazards
- support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up
- create a welcoming environment by greeting guests
- assist guests in a helpful and welcoming manner
- thank guests and reinforce a positive shopping experience
- perform other duties as needed based on business needs
