Job Requirements
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 34 degrees Fahrenheit to -10 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties including Drive-Up and carryout
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect, signing and backstock
- Maintain an on-going awareness of all promotional activities within Starbucks
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent Starbucks experience while driving efficiency and maintaining food safety
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests all day, every day
