Job Requirements
- accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- climb up and down ladders
- scan handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule including nights weekends and holidays with reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to work in environments ranging from 34 degrees F to -10 degrees F
- ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be present
- capability to work in varying temperatures humidity and other elements including Drive-Up and carryout duties
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of the scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
- ability to work independently and with a team
- ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
Job Duties
- deliver an exceptional guest experience connecting with guests to provide quality handcrafted beverages and food
- uphold and maintain food and beverage standards including Starbucks brand and food safety standards
- execute food and beverage processes such as deliveries replenishment stocking zoning instocks routines data accuracy rotation cleaning defect signing and backstock
- maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks
- support the Starbucks Drive-Up process for accurate and timely order fulfillment
- maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout all operations hours
- engage with guests to meet and exceed Starbucks expectations
