  • must maintain a neat and professional appearance upholding company appearance standards at all times
  • must be able to apply commonsense understanding in carrying out instructions
  • must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation
  • must be able to work without constant supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Prior food and beverage experience preferred
  • prior coffee or barista experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards providing eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the coffee shop area
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • act with integrity honesty and knowledge that promote the culture values and mission of the company
  • maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard
  • anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
  • deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer discovering and responding to customer needs
  • follow operational policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace so that team members can locate resources and product as needed
  • provide quality beverages whole bean and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
  • follow health safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings evenings weekends nights and or holidays
